A little preview
On a muddy morning by the creek, Alex spotted a row of giant footprints pressed into the wet sand. Each print had three round toes and a size like a barrel lid. Ravi the squirrel chittered excitedly from a low branch, offering a bright pebble as a 'map marker.' Alex crouched to examine the prints. They led in different directions and some prints seemed shorter, as if a puzzle had been scattered. A mystery waited to be solved.
